Class 26 No D5310 should be working our next running day on 8th May. Many thanks to those who turned out in good numbers to support her run on the 10th April. Hope you enjoyed the day – we certainly did!
The BRCW Type 2 is currently stopped with a minor brake valve fault in the Carrog end cab (those who waited to see her run round on the last train last Saturday may have noticed the crew had difficulties changing ends!). However, we’re hoping this will be repaired in good time for the 8th.
37240 is not expected to be ready to return to traffic until the summer – we want to ensure the loco is reliable and undergoes a successful, loaded test run before putting her out on a public train. Class 47 No D1566 is also stopped awaiting radiator repairs.
