A big thank you to those who supported 5580’s running day last weekend, the Type 2 performed faultlessly and a good time was had by all. Thanks, as always, to Jon and Co for making the long trip over to Wales to make it all happen.
We are pleased to be able to announce traction for all but one of the year’s remaining 4 trip running days as follows:
Sunday 17th June: Class 37 6940
Saturday 30th June: Class 47 D1566
Saturday 7th July: TBC
Saturday 21st July: Class 26 D5310
Saturday 16th September: Class 37 6940
We hope that Brush Type 4 fans are able to support the two running days for D1566. The loco is also expected to run at the 60’s weekend on 28th & 29th July but following this event the batteries kindly loaned by HNRC from 47703 are due to be returned, meaning an apperance at the Autumn Diesel Day may not be possible.
